In March of this year, I had a regularly scheduled oncology appointment. As the icing on the cake, I was sent to get four more immunization shots afterwards. On Monday, July 17th, I drove to the D'Amour Cancer Center for the sole purpose of getting more immunizations. I was inoculated six times by two nurses -- three shots in each arm. I was okay with this as it's not really the shots that hurt. It's the sore arms 24 hours later that always gets me. Thank goodness there is ibuprofen. I believe I have one more set of shots to go in six months. When I get them, I will be done with everything from my stem cell transplant from November 2021.
