Catch Up Time

It has been awhile since I've posted; so here's what's been happening with us.

Both Jaclyn and Lizzy are doing well in college. They're keeping busy with school work and friends.

Tammy and I visited the NY Gangwers for a weekend back in the middle of September. We stayed at mom and dad's new RV trailer and enjoyed getting to know our neices better.

At the end of October, Tammy and I went to a Vermont Bed and Breakfast. The first day we experienced life on the farm. The second day, we spent exploring Montpelier.

We came home from there to the historic Nor'easter that left us without power for 4 days. We used the wood stove in the breezeway to keep the house around 60 and went to bed when it got dark around 7pm. Some people are still without power as of this writing and the streets are lined with tree debris.

During the power outage, I removed the kitchen floor - all 5 of them. Next weekend, we hope to have a tile floor layed in the kitchen and breezeway.
