Mundacity

Okay, Randi is complaining about no new posts.

I was planning on posting about once a week because the older one gets the more mundane life gets. Don't believe me. Well here you go. I wake up at 4:30am to go to work and find myself falling asleep around 9pm. The rest of the family gets up around 6am and heads off to school. They get home around 4pm. We eat dinner, do the dishes, and the girls do their homework. That's pretty much what our life consists of presently. (I guess it could be worse. We could be Licorice who sleeps all night in Jaclyn's bedroom then sleeps in our bedroom all day while we are gone. She is up long enough to eat and drink and be teased by Lizzy and myself.)

Stay tuned next week for specifics on the above "mundacity". (Unless Randi complains again and makes me post sooner than that.)

Taking the Plunge

Finally took the plunge in to blogging. Thought if Randi could do one, hey, why not us.

For our first post, a little update on what everyone is up to here in CT. The girls and Tammy start school this Monday, August 25th. Lizzy pretty much spent her summer sitting at the laptop viewing all her friends' and cousins' You Tube videos and social networking accounts as well as listening to music. Jaclyn spent the summer working at school as well as driving herself to friends' homes and social activities. Tammy worked weekends at the hospital and has been recently preparing to teach Biology for the new school year. I recently went from working the overnights to working days at the radio station. Starting September 7th, my on-air shift will be from 9am to 1:30pm.
