On Wednesday, November 21, the IL Grandparents arrived in CT for the Thanksgiving holiday. We went out to eat at Acapulco's that night for dinner. The next day, Thanksgiving, I had to work but Stas and Lizzy and Tammy had off. Stas prepared the turkey (which was one of the juicest we've ever had). Lizzy made the sweet potato casserole. Tammy and Grandma Kelly made the stuffing, potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls, pumpkin and apple pies. Stas's brother Illiya was able to join us for the day as well.
On Friday, both Tammy and I had to work. Stas and Lizzy took the IL grandparents to the Springfield Armory then to Munich Haus for lunch. On Saturday, Tammy and I along with Grandma Kelly went to Worcester to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the DCU Center. We did make a stop at an antique store along the way. Stas and Lizzy and Grandpa Kelly went to Chicago Sams to watch some college football and have lunch.
