Gangwer's Island

Just sit right back and you'll read a tale,
A tale of a normal day
That starts at the break of dawn
After I awake.

The alarm sounds off at 4am.
To the shower I must drift
For I am heading off to work
For an eight hour shift, an eight hour shift.

The day is like any day,
The news and weather read,
Songs and programs get played
With verses being said, verses being said.

The clock says it 2pm so off to home I head
To see Licorice,
my wife Tammy too,
The newspaper and the mail,
My two daughters
Jackie and Elizabeth
here at home sweet home.

(If you haven't figured it out yet, the above must be sung to the tune of Gilligan's Island for the full effect to be enjoyed. Perhaps (no promises), the second verse will be blogged at a later time.)
