Well, I hadn't updated the blog in awhile because I thought everyone was too busy playing with their Facebook accounts and were not interested in the oh so boring blogasphere anymore. Apparently, at least one person does check back occasionally. (Randi must be too busy hob-nobbing with local politicians and running Madison's new political campaigns. As for the rest of the family, I don't think they even bother stopping by for a visit.)
Tammy and the girls returned from three days of school camp. I got to enjoy the bachelor's life for several days. Coming home and eating a package of cookies for dinner. Floating in the pool to keep up my golden boy image. (Not many days left to do that as the water is turning mighty cold.) Watching what I wanted on the TV.
But as the saying goes all good things must come to an end. So here I sit at the school library at 8pm (which actually is pretty nice because I can use their dictionary to check the spelling of several words) while Tammy photocopies school papers and prepares for her field trip to the ocean Monday; and we both wait for Lizzy to get done with a friend's birthday party at 1030pm.

Who lets their teenage daughter party til 10:30 at night? I know I would keep my daughter on a curfew. No partying for her. She has a political image to uphold.
