Apparently, a request has been made by my little brother to discuss him in my blog. (See comments made under earlier blog.) Now, I do realize it has not been a full week since I last posted, but I did not want to disappoint him.
To be honest, I don't know if I can recall how great he is, etc.as his comments requested; but here are some of the things I do recall.
1)When he was about three, he had a fascination with the Incredible Hulk. He would go around the house roaring like the Incredible Hulk and then attack us as we sat and watched television. For Christmas that year, he had to have a Stretch Armstong doll like the Incredible Hulk. (I won't even discuss the Hulk underoos.)
2) Then there was the time when he was around five. Our front door bell rang, and there he was with a toy tool belt on and a briefcase. He said he was going around the neighborhood selling drugs and did we want to buy any. (Hmmmmmm.......)
3)His main source of sustenance was Rice Crispies, and thus that was pretty much the only cereal we had in the house. (Probably the reason why to this day I won't eat Rice Crispies)
4)We shared a bedroom until he was about seven or so. I then moved my bedroom downstairs and pretty much lost contact with everyone in the family after that. I was pretty much only seen at dinner time. Hence the end of my recollections of my little brother.
Well, I hope that makes you happy little brother. Maybe next week I will publish some recollections of my sisters. (Any requests?)

I'd like to hear about the time you get slapped by mom when you were a teenager.
Okay, so Rick had his turn. What about your youngest sister. How about the time I quit playing Risk and you flew over the table and chased me into mom and dad's bathroom. I stayed in that bathroom for a long time waiting for mom to come home...... Did mom ever slap Ron,,, I thought he was the "perfect" son. Remember all the plane and car models he had in his room downstairs, or the stamp collection, and his christian contemporary collection we would sneak in and listen to while he was at work...
Oh yes, models and stamps. Don't forget about the rockets he and his girlfriend, i mean buddy John used to shoot off in the backyard. If those are not cool hobbies then I don't know what is.
And yes Ron got slapped at an age that was beyond the norm to get slapped.
Those rockets (including a three stager) were all home-made out of wrapping paper tubes and balsam wood. Those stamps I collected are worth money today. What do you have from your childhood that has increased in worth. Also, maybe if someone else had been slapped he may have been a better boy growing up:)
